Tas Cru – 11/18 – CANCELED

Tas Cru

THIS SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELED – TAS LIVES IN THE NORTH COUNTRY AND HE’S SNOWED IN.

Warm, rich vocals, deft harmonies and tasty guitar work fittingly describe what you can expect from this pair of critically acclaimed singer/songwriters.  They have just recently completed work on Tas’ Riffin’ the Blue, which will be released this coming February and are eager to share several of these new songs at this show at the 443.  Fresh off a very enjoyable festival season that included performances from Maine (North Atlantic Blues Festival) to Montana (Riverfront Blues Festival) and a European Tour, they are excited to perform here for folks from in, and nearby their own home region.

Tas Cru

Tas Cru is a blues eclectic whose songs and playing reflect a wide range of blues styles.  He has released seven albums of all original songs since 2015 – all recorded here in Syracuse at Subcat Music Studios. They have earned nominations from the Blues Foundation’s Blues Music Awards, Blues Blast Awards and the Independent Blues Awards.  Three of his albums – Simmered & Stewed, Memphis Song and Drive On are all Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY) winners.  Mary Ann Casale is steeped in folk-blues and timeless Americana.  She counts among her most significant influences the Reverend Gary Davis and an early-career-Bonnie Raitt. Tas and Mary Ann perform on all of each other’s recordings which include Tas’ albums and Casale’s Restless Heart and Running Out of Time.
