Mark your calendars for the third edition of Ormond Entertainment’s “Singo De Mayo!”.
This super-fun karaoke reunion will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at The Listening Room at 443. We’ll get together with old friends, make new ones, sing and be silly…all for a good cause!
The event is free but we’ll be doing a 50/50 raffle and donations are welcome to help fund scholarships to Camp Aspire, which is a summer camp for CNY children learning to live with diabetes. Our longtime friend and colleague Roger Yager passed away suddenly due to complications from the disease in October of 2012, and the scholarships will be given in his name. One week of camp costs $650 because of the medical staff required.
Fun Fact:
Roger began his DJ career at Mrs. O’Leary’s, which was located at 443 Burnet Ave – the same building that houses The Listening Room at 443.
