Todd Wolfe and Carla Olson
About the Artists:
Carla Olson is a singer, songwriter, guitar player and producer. Her 1984 debut album, Midnight Mission, was as leader of the Textones and included Gene Clark, Ry Cooder and Don Henley as guests. A few years later Gene and Carla recorded what many view as the first Americana album, So Rebellious A Lover. Since then Carla has released solo albums and a live record with Mick Taylor.
Carla is one of the few currently active women record producers and includes among her credits Paul Jones, (Manfred Mann), Phil Upchurch, Jake Andrews, Joe Louis Walker, Chubby Tavares, Barry Goldberg (Electric Flag, The Rides), Mare Winningham, Ana Gazzola, Big Kettle Drum, and Australian slide guitar wizard Ash Grunwald. Her recent duets album, Have Harmony, Will Travel, featured Richie Furay, Rob Waller, Juice Newton, John York and James Intveld. Carla has also just produced a new album for The Textones with all new songs and the original band members. Old Stone Gang was released in September 2018 on Blue Elan Records and features Rusty Young from Poco, Barry Goldberg, and the Hollies’ Allan Clarke. The album was featured on Billboard.com and is receiving great reviews.
Todd Wolfe spent five years touring the world with Sheryl Crow including writing and recording with Sheryl on her self titled sophomore album as well as “The Globe Sessions.” Since Todd’s departure from Sheryl’s band, he has spent the past 15 years touring the world with his own band and released nine albums.
Todd has also recorded with legendary guitarist-singer Leslie West, lending his guitar to two Mountain albums and three of Leslie’s solo records. Todd’s songs have been covered by artists, Stevie Nicks, Faith Hill, Deborah Coleman, and Larry McCray.
In February 2018 Todd Wolfe received an award from the Greater Lehigh Valley Music Association and the Senate of Pennsylvania for supporting the communities in the area for the past decade.
Carla and Todd have just recorded an acoustic album, The Hidden Hills Sessions, that will be released May 3rd, 2019 on Red Parlor Records.
Soulful alternative folk-pop duo THE KENNEDYS will open the show.

At well over a million miles of roadwork, including two stints as members of Nanci Griffith’s Blue Moon Orchestra, Pete and Maura Kennedy show no signs of slowing down either on tour or in the creative realm.

Originally based in Austin, Texas, they spent a few years in the Washington DC area before moving to the East Village in New York City, where they have been based for most of the last two decades. The Kennedys are known nationwide as the hosts of the late lamented Dharma Café program on Sirius Satellite Radio, and on Broadway, they are regular cast members of Theatre Within’s annual tribute to John Lennon — working in that capacity with Patti Smith, Debbie Harry, Jackson Browne, Cyndi Lauper and a host of others.

Life on the road and time spent in the creative ecosystem of the Village have informed their songwriting over the course of 14 duo albums and half a dozen side projects, and Safe Until Tomorrow is true to that tradition. What sets the album apart is the inclusion of several anthemic, rocking songs of social consciousness that convey a strong message best summed up in one of the song titles: “Be Silent No More.” The Kennedys’ music has been described as uplifting, empowering and encouraging. In these turbulent times, they rise to the occasion with Safe Until Tomorrow
