Is The 443 wheelchair accessible?

Our 100-year-old building is not ADA-compliant.

We inherited a pair of restrooms that could charitably be described as “quirky”. We investigated several scenarios, but unfortunately, we are not able to make the rooms accessible without gutting both of them completely and moving walls, which comes with a hefty price tag. We simply couldn’t manage it along with the other expenses involved in opening the venue.

Our long-term plan is to convert our teeny-tiny men’s room and oddly arranged ladies room into two unisex wheelchair-accessible restrooms.

That said, we do have a portable wheelchair ramp to help guests navigate the step at our front door, and we have guests who visit us regularly who use wheelchairs. If you’re thinking about visiting and you’re concerned about accessibility for someone in your party, please email us.
