Lauren and Joseph (J.) Mettler are brother and sister, brought up by a small town in northern New York State.

Separately, they’ve toured cities up and down the eastern seaboard, from large concert halls to intimate coffeehouse settings, they’ve scored theater performances, and perhaps most notably are marked as folk musicians by their search to bring back song-crafting’s early qualities of storytelling and relation, coupled with intricate finger-style instrumentation.

Both Lauren and Joseph are recipients of Syracuse’s own SAMMY awards, as new local artists and singer/songwriters alike.
