Erin Harpe Country Blues Trio
May 18, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
$15Erin Harpe has been called “one of the most dynamic, talented and exciting roots-rocking blues women on the scene” by Living Blues Magazine. Winner of the 2018 Boston Blues Challenge, and nominated for 2018 “Blues Artist of the Year” by the Boston Music Awards, Erin is having an exciting year. Brought up on Delta and Piedmont blues, which she learned from her dad, Erin recently entered and won the Boston Blues Challenge playing solo. She’ll be headed off to Memphis in January to represent Boston at the 2019 International Blues Challenge! On top of that, Erin Harpe & the Delta Swingers were nominated for Blues Artist of the Year.
Erin loves to play the down-home acoustic blues and has played with Phil Wiggins (of Cephas and Wiggins), James Montgomery, Warner Williams & Jay Summerour, Eleanor Ellis, and many more and opened for some of the blues greats including ZZ Top, T-Model Ford, Honeyboy Edwards, Roy Bookbinder and James Cotton. She’s played at the House of Blues, Caffe Lena, Passim, the International Blues Challenge, South by Southwest, the New York State Blues Festival and many other festivals and venues around the US. She has toured the UK and Spain with her acoustic duo (joined by Jim Countryman on ukelele bass), and she also performs with her Country Blues Trio, which also features Matt “Charles” Prozialeck on acoustic harmonica.

Much of our seating at 443 is communal – tables and chairs/barstools and sofas/loveseats. You should expect to share a table or sofa with other attendees.
