Welcome Forty Weight Coffee Roasters!

As we close out the first quarter of 2019, we are bidding a sad farewell to our inaugural guest roaster, Java Love from Bethel, NY.

We have a lot of love for Java Love, especially their Bad Ass Brew – it’s definitely been a staff and guest favorite around here, because it’s, well – SO BAD ASS.

Until we meet again, Java Love.

But, we’re excited to welcome our new guest coffee roaster, Forty Weight from Ithaca, NY.

Forty Weight Coffee

We’re stocking four of our favorite coffees from their excellent selection:

Animal Behavior (Crisp, round, wildly pleasing. Medium roast, blend) – Animal Behavior was designed to create a coffee that is both pleasing to a broad audience while at the same time exciting to the most serious of connoisseurs. Blending top micro-lots from Colombia and Brazil, Forty Weight created a beautifully round cup that dances with notes of sweet cherry and refined acidity.

26292  – (Cacao nibs, roasted almonds. Dark roast, blend) This blend is a bit of a throwback created for those who are looking for a robust, more traditional coffee profile without going too dark. A two-bean blend of Latin American coffees, 26292 has a subdued acidity with notes of caramel and bittersweet chocolate. A bonafide crowd-pleaser.

Papua New Guinea, AAK Cooperative (Medium roast, single origin) – Savory almond notes coupled with layers of persimmon, nutmeg, dried fig and a big body.

Burundi Gahahe Natural (light roast, single origin) – Grape, red wine, raspberry, dark chocolate, velvety body.

Schedule your coffee meeting at 443 this week, and can check out the caffeinated goodness of Forty Weight Coffee, not to mention our delectable homemade treats.

PS – If you need a little extra something in your coffee (Baileys Jameson, Amaretto?), we won’t tell anyone…promise!

See you soon –
