NEW HOURS at 443

Hours at 443

Hey 443-ers!

We’ve made the decision to adjust our business hours beginning next Tuesday. Starting June 25 we’ll be opening at 11am Tuesday through Sunday, and Monday we will be closed.

We have been opening at 8am during the week and 10am on weekends, but we’ve been unable to develop our early morning coffee business.

When we were preparing to launch we got tons of feedback about how wonderful it would be to have a coffee shop in the Hawley Green neighborhood, especially one with such easy parking – but unfortunately, we haven’t been able to turn it into actual coffee loving customers.

This isn’t a cost-cutting measure…my son Nick is our daytime dude, and he’ll still be here during the day – he’ll just come in and leave a little later, and of course, I’ll be here as well. The main goal is to give me some breathing room to manage all the behind the scenes stuff I’m struggling to handle right now and possibly grab a little more sleep.

I knew something had to give when I was working the door for Loren Barrigar’s show on Saturday and found myself incapable of adding $17 + $17 due to sheer exhaustion and brain fog…a 90 hour work week is no joke when you’re over 50.

Aside from my plummeting IQ, the balls I’m juggling are starting to fall. I have gaps in our entertainment calendar because of the limited time I have to work on booking, and I’m missing calls and emails like crazy.  We decided that it makes more sense to drop the morning hours that typically don’t have any traffic and focus on the parts of the day we have a better shot at developing. We aren’t changing our offerings, and we’ll still be a great place for lunch or an afternoon meeting. If you need a caffeine fix, we’ve still got you covered with excellent coffee and cold brew.

You may have noticed we are reopening on Tuesdays. Why Tuesday, you ask?

ROCK BINGO MUSIC TRIVIA!

Tuesday, June 25 will be our very first Rock Bingo Music Trivia night. Bingo, Trivia and Name that Tune walked into a bar together and this pop culture battle of wits is the super-fun result. Free to play, please check it out.

We’ll be updating our hours on our website and our Facebook page on Sunday night and posting reminders periodically.
