Mmmm… this is a sticky one for us.
We spend a lot of time and energy working to sell tickets because if we can’t put butts in the seats, nothing else we do matters. It’s tempting to encourage people to buy as many tickets as possible, but we’ve learned the hard way that it causes a new set of problems.
Our shows are “listening room style”, which means you’re not allowed to talk during the performance. We know it’s tough not to talk when you’re with a big group of friends, so we’re just not the venue for that kind of gathering.
We also have limitations on how many food orders we can pump out at the same time in our tiny food prep space behind the bar. We simply are not able to deliver more than 6 orders to the same table at the same time while everything is still hot.
We have a cap on the number of tickets you can purchase on EventBrite. You can buy up to 3 tables of two for our tiered ticket shows or 6 GA tickets for local bands. You can work around it by buying them in multiple transactions, but we will not seat more than 6 people at one table.
We understand that you might be disappointed that your group of 8 or 10 cannot sit at the same table. We strive to say “YES” as often as possible, but this is one of those situations where we have to consider what’s best for the entire room. It doesn’t make sense to make the other tables in the room have their 443 experience disrupted by a large, chatty table, and it’s not fair for them to wait longer for their food because we’re trying to accommodate a larger group.
We appreciate your understanding.
